As you already know, when we attended Pitti Uomo 87, we had invitations to some launching collections, one of which is 40WEFT Fall/Winter 15/16. This event took place on 13th of January, the first day of Pitti Uomo 87.

It was really a really nice gathering, talking with the owner and PRs and getting to know more about the brand itself and also about the new collection. We got to sit at a round table, enjoying ourselves with wine and cocktails and just talking fashion – what could possibly be better than this?
We felt also grateful and lucky to receive some blogger freebies, a 40WEFT scarf for each of us:

40WEFT Fall/Winter 2015/2016 Collection
This collection is inspired by an imaginary dominated by real and polished men and women, always in search of nonfictional aesthetic perfection.
The unique styles are enriched by particular details and valued fabrics, which are able to mix past and avant-garde, refinement and trend. The creativity is blended with sartorial knowledge, because the outfits are capable of blurring the lines between elegance and sportswear.
Fall/Winter 15/16 Collection is characterized by contracting volumes, ultra skinny pants in stretch cotton and cargo trousers inspired by the attraction is military uniforms.
Cotton, compact knits and jacquard with Cartesian motifs, are cleverly combined with coated technical fabrics or matte-finish neoprene and offer a very special mix.
Retro interiors were a source of inspiration for the top and pants, with checks and micro geometric patterns, both monochrome and multicolor. Also, jackets are made to be easily worn for both informal and formal occasions. The iconic garment is certainly the waistcoat.
This winter collection is characterized by the use of bold and deep colors, strong as black and charcoal gray, which are wisely matched with lighter shades like off-white, stone gray and neutral nature tones: beige, camel or green.
The color palette encompasses the intense blue, the indigo, periwinkle and a wide range of reds that reach the shades of dark bordeaux and become one of the must-have colors of the season.
